Mark spoke about what the FA are doing and got our coaches working, going through a number of warm up routines and also a number of other drills before moving on to some goalkeeping sessions. 09/05/2011 - U9 FC played St John Santos on Saturday and only narrowly lost 3-2 on a very wet Saturday morning. A fine battling performance and goals from Caudell and Ellis made for a nail bighting finish. It’s testament to the team and the individuals, the progress made considering the first game of the season 11-0 result against the same team. To quote Sam Caudell “You get out what you put in” seems the FC have a motto!! A big thanks again to the parents for standing in the rain, I’m sure it was worth it!

U9 Rangers played in the Invitation Cup final on Sunday at Bolehall Swifts and accredited themselves well, despite the bumps, cuts and bruises they put everything into the game, but came up against a very strong Birch Coppice side and lost 3-0. But again great credit to the guys who have played the season with usually one or no substitutes and I think the energy sapping season and the size of the pitch in the end took it’s toll. But from the players, Jack, Connor and myself a huge thank you to the family, friends and other team players that turned up in numbers to support them, I know you must have been proud to see them. To show the quality and effort the lads put in it was with great pride that our own Sam Maynard secured ‘Man of the Match’ and I know we had a number of players in the team that came into consideration. Well done Sam!!!!

02/05/2011 - Congratulations to the Under 11 FC team who produced a very good performance to win the Major Cup with a last minute winner today in a very good game, well done Richard, Stuart and all the players.

20/12/2010 - The FA have changed the way we retain our FA Charter Standard Development status. We now have to complete an "Annual Health Check" whereby we have to show that all our officers and coaches have achieved and retained the necessary qualifications which are 95% complete with one or two courses to be completed. We, as a Club, also have to show we have the correct procedures and plans in place to maintain the safety of all those involved in the Club and to ensure that the Club continues to develop in a quality manner. This has taken a lot of time by a lot of people to complete the courses, coaching, first aid, child protection, etc, etc. My thanks to all those who have helped in getting this done.
Kevin Dyer, Hon Secretary.

22/05/2010 - The Under 18's team played their final match together against the Midland Floodlit Youth League Champions Atherstone Town. In a very good game in 80 degree heat, the lads put in a very good performance against a very good team. Although we lost, the lads can proud of themselves for a terrific performance capping a good season. I would like to thank every single one of you for your effort, commitment and loyalty that you have shown over the last 11 years.
